The Impact of Leisure Activities on Quality Life LEISURE SKILLS PROJECT

The Leisure skills programme for people with intellectual disabilities is an Erasmus+-funded project with the interprofessional collaboration of six organizations and services from five European countries (Greece, Portugal, Spain, Cyprus, and France). The aim of the program is to develop and improve the management skills of leisure time of people with mental and/or developmental difficulties. It includes a toolkit, based on educational tools, providing trainers, academics, professionals and parents/carers interactive and supportive material for users to achieve autonomy and decision-making skills for choosing how to spend their free time.  It is a valuable tool for citizens with intellectual disabilities and should be included in public policy for the health and quality of life of this population

The photographs and the video shown on this page depict participants and trainers taking part in leisure activities in partner countries.
